Dog Daycare Play Options
Dogs are thoughtfully matched for group play based on size, temperament, and play style to help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Play takes place in spacious indoor and outdoor yards featuring paw-friendly turf, play structures, shade, water stations, raised beds for rest breaks, and webcams so you can check in on the fun.
For guests who prefer their own space or are not suited for group settings, we also offer individualized play sessions with our Pet Pros. At select locations, dogs can also enjoy outdoor play areas and water-based activities for even more tail-wagging fun! Explore the play experiences available to your dog during their stay:

Group Play
Best for social dogs! Supervised social play in our top-of-the-line indoor and outdoor play areas, designed for safe fun and plenty of room to run and make friends. Pet parents can check in and watch the fun on webcams. Dogs must be spayed/neutered and approved through our evaluation process. A Half Day includes up to 5 hours of play, and a Full Day includes 5-8 hours of play.

Day Boarding
Perfect for dogs who prefer people over playgroups, Day Boarding offers a calm, private suite with dedicated staff interaction, one-on-one time, potty breaks and personalized care throughout the day.

Group Play + Room
Best for dogs who enjoy both playtime and downtime. This option combines all the fun of group play plus a private room for rest breaks, lunch, or quiet time during the day. Pet parents can check in and watch the fun on webcams. Dogs must be spayed/neutered and approved through our evaluation process.

Dog Daycare FAQs
What vaccinations does my dog need for daycare at PetSuites?
Dogs attending PetSuites daycare must have current Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella, and Canine Influenza vaccinations administered by a licensed veterinarian. Puppy vaccine requirements may vary, so contact your local resort for details.
Pets must be at least 12 weeks old. Dogs 7 months and older must also be spayed or neutered to participate in group play. Alternative play options are available for unaltered dogs.
What happens during my dog's daycare evaluation?
Before joining daycare, all new guests participate in a complimentary evaluation day. During this visit, our team will get to know your dog, assess their temperament, play style, and comfort level, and help determine the experience that's the best fit for their individual needs.
You'll also have the opportunity to meet our Pet Pros, tour the resort, view our play areas and webcams, and ask any questions about your dog's stay. Whether your dog thrives in a social group setting or would be more comfortable with alternative play and enrichment options, our goal is to create a safe, enjoyable experience tailored to them.
Is dog daycare good for dogs, and how do I know if it's right for my dog?
For many dogs, daycare can provide valuable physical exercise, mental stimulation, socialization, enrichment, and a healthy outlet for energy. However, every dog is different, and the right experience depends on their personality, temperament, and play style. If you'd like to learn more about the role enrichment plays in a dog's overall well-being, explore our guide to dog enrichment.
At PetSuites, all new daycare guests complete an evaluation so our team can get to know your dog and help determine the best fit. Dogs that enjoy people, activity, and interacting with other dogs may thrive in group daycare, while others may be more comfortable with individual play or alternative enrichment options. Our goal is to create a safe, enjoyable experience that's tailored to each dog's unique needs.
New guests can also take advantage of our First Day Free offer to experience PetSuites daycare!
How are dogs grouped during daycare, and what if my dog isn't a good fit for group play?
Every dog is unique. During your dog's evaluation, our Pet Pros assess their temperament, play style, size, and activity level to help determine the experience that's right for them.
For dogs who enjoy socializing, we thoughtfully create playgroups based on compatibility to help promote safe, comfortable, and enjoyable interactions. All group play is supervised by our team, with rest breaks and individualized care incorporated throughout the day.
Not every dog enjoys group play, and that's okay. PetSuites offers alternative play and individualized enrichment options at all locations, ensuring every guest can enjoy activity, attention, and mental stimulation in a way that's tailored to their needs.

What happens if my dog gets sick or injured at daycare?
At PetSuites, our goal is to provide a safe, healthy, and comfortable environment for every guest. If your dog needs veterinary care during their stay, our team will first try to consult with your pet's primary veterinarian. If your veterinarian is unavailable, we work with trusted local veterinary partners to help ensure your dog receives the care they need.
To provide additional peace of mind, every guest is automatically enrolled in our PetSuites Health Care Commitment Program, which is designed to assist pet parents in the event of a qualifying incident related to their pet's visit. Contact your local resort for complete program details and eligibility requirements.
Can I tour PetSuites before my dog's first daycare visit?
Absolutely! We welcome prospective pet parents to tour their local PetSuites, meet our team, see the accommodations, and ask questions before booking. No appointment is required. For the best tour experience, we recommend visiting outside our busiest check-in and pick-up periods, typically 6:30–8 a.m. and 5–7 p.m.
